The fall semester is wrapping up at Hawthorne College, and as the snow settles on the ground and the holiday party season kicks into gear, something ominous is stalking the sisters of Mu Kappa Epsilon. After receiving threatening anonymous calls, one of their best friends goes missing, and within days the bodies start piling up. When the sisters decide they’ve had enough, they’ll have to go up against the masked killer, the police, their professors, and a powerful fraternity with occult rituals stretching back hundreds of years.
Based on the 1974 cult classic considered one of the earliest slasher films, this remake cranks up the bloodshed and puts the focus on sisterly solidarity. Imogen Poots (GREEN ROOM), Aleyse Shannon, Brittany O’Grady, and Lily Donoghue star in this Sophia Takal-directed horror from Blumhouse Productions, their first female-helmed feature. These girls are no scream-and-die victims, and when the yuletide terror comes, they’ll be ready to do so some slashing of their own.
