About the film

Release Date: Apr 11, 2019
Director: Tina Gordon Chism
Actors: Regina Hall, Marsai Martin, Issa Rae
Nightmare boss Jordan Sanders (Regina Hall, GIRLS TRIP) bullies everyone in her path, especially her assistant, April (Issa Rae, INSECURE). But when a magical spell turns Jordan into a teenage girl (Marsai Martin, BLACK-ISH) just before a do-or-die presentation, she has to rely on April to take care of her. Though April now has some power over her, Jordan still retains every ounce of her attitude, landing them both in some wild (and hilarious) dilemmas.

Both onscreen and behind the scenes, LITTLE is all about women supporting women. Director Tina Gordon (PEEPLES) made a point to ensure that just about everything you see in the film, from its costumes to props to production design, was produced by young black women (as well as women of all colors). And as if that wasn’t awesome enough, this whole film came to be as the result of a pitch from its executive producer: teenage star Marsai Martin.

Made by and starring some incredible women, LITTLE is a charming, funny, empowering film that both illustrates and exemplifies the power of women looking out for one another.
