Director: Walter Salles
Actors: Fernanda Torres, Selton Mello, Fernanda Montenegro, Maeve Jinkings, Humberto Carrao

Starring Oscar nominee Fernanda Montenegro and her daughter Fernanda Torres in powerhouse performances, I’m Still Here unfolds a profoundly moving true story of courage, sacrifice, and resilience during Brazil’s oppressive military dictatorship in the 1970s. Based on Marcelo Rubens Paiva’s acclaimed memoir, the film follows Eunice Paiva (Torres), a mother of five whose life is upended when her husband is forcibly taken by the military police. As Eunice transforms into a fearless activist fighting for her family’s survival, Montenegro brings gravitas to her role as Eunice’s mother-in-law, adding depth to this multi-generational tale of defiance and hope.
